U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Supervisory Medical Supply Technician (Sterile Processing) leads the Sterile Processing Service at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center, overseeing quality, timeliness and staff performance.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in Sterile Processing leadership roles preferred.
• Strong ability to manage, direct, and supervise staff and workflows.
• Familiar with decontamination, sterilization, monitoring, and distribution of RME.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA and process improvement in Sterile Processing Service.
• Monitor and document sterilization processes and reporting to SPS leadership.
• Guide staff with proper procedures as subject matter expert.
• Assign, plan and evaluate work; approve leave and resolve staff issues.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and manufacturer guidelines.
