The Miami VA Healthcare System's Sterile Processing Service seeks an experienced Lead MST to manage workflows, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with SOPs in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The Lead MST will coordinate decontamination, prep, pack and sterilization processes, monitor quality, train staff, and liaise with medical and SPS management to support a VA academic hospital program.

Competenze

• Six months experience or one year above high school with healthcare related courses.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education acceptable.
• GS-7 level with leadership and KSAs demonstrated.

Mansioni

• Distributes and prioritizes workload among SPS staff.
• Assures even workflow and revises schedules as needed.
• Monitors work quality, ensures SOPs and SPS mandates are followed.
• Instructs employees on procedures, policies and goals.
• Provides information to management on performance and task completion.
