Job summary

MUHA is seeking a Sterile Processing Supervisor to provide operational and technical leadership for the SPD, supervising Lead Technicians and Technicians. You will coordinate daily workflow, ensure staff competency, and uphold regulatory and quality standards to support perioperative services.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, CRCST–HSPA or CBSPD certification, and at least 3 years in sterile processing or leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CRCST–HSPA or CBSPD certification required and maintained.
• Minimum of 3 years sterile processing experience in sterile processing or leadership role.
• Knowledge of sterilization principles, microbiology and infection prevention practices.
• Knowledge of instrument names, functions and specialty sets.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and recordkeeping.
