Job summary

Mayo Clinic seeks a Sterile Processing Technician in Minnesota to support the operating room team by preparing and delivering instruments and supplies for procedures. Qualifications

• Certification in sterile processing is required or must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
• Experience in handling and sterilizing surgical instruments is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse team members in a perioperative setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver medical/surgical supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Clean, package, and process surgical instruments and maintain inventory.
• Operate sterilization equipment and track processing using computer systems.
• Support the operating room team under supervision of the Core Charge RN and manager.
