Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Manager, Sterile Processing to lead 24/7 CPD operations, ensuring compliant handling, sterilization, cleaning, maintenance, storage and assembly of instruments and supplies.

You will develop policies, optimize inventory, supervise staff, coordinate with OR/CPD teams, and drive quality improvement through data monitoring and reporting. Seven years of tech experience with supervisory background is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of specialized education or an associate's degree in Surgical Technology or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advancement.
• 7+ years as sterile processing technician with 3 years supervisory experience.
• Current certification from HSPA or CBSPD.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 operations of the Sterile Processing Department.
• Develop and enforce policies for processing, sterilization, storage and assembly.
• Monitor inventory, establish par levels, and initiate purchases as needed.
• Lead department goals and organizational structure to support functions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital, department, and external standards.
