Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years of leadership experience, and preferred background in surgical technology with sterile processing expertise. CRCST/CSPDT/CST certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred graduation from a surgical technology program or a bachelor’s degree in surgical technology.
• 3 years of experience leading teams in a healthcare setting.
• 2 years of sterile processing experience preferred.
• Scrub tech/surgical tech hospital experience preferred.
• CRCST/CSPDT/CST certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, and coordinate activities of the sterile processing department.
• Manage OR supply/instrumentation and equipment distribution to user areas.
• Monitor inventory transactions and ensure safe, cost-effective operations.
• Train and develop staff; motivate employees to meet objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain quality control.
