Job summary

Parkview Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to organize, maintain, and document specialty surgical supplies and instrumentation. You will support daily SPD operations, liaise with the OR and vendors, and ensure instruments are available for procedures, while documenting borrowed/loaned items.

The role requires at least two years of experience, CRCST certification, and strong anatomy knowledge, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two-year minimum experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• CRCST certification is required.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Organize, maintain, and document specialty surgical supplies and instrumentation.
• Plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and lead the staff group in SPD.
• Maintain instrument inventory and records of borrowed/loaned instruments; ensure availability for surgery.
• Operate and maintain Sterile Processing equipment and assist with daily SPD duties.
