Qualifications

• Two years' experience in Sterile Processing required.
• Certification in Sterile Processing Management encouraged within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Expert in all aspects of the sterile processing cycle.
• Assumes role and responsibilities of Sterile Processing Supervisor when assigned.
• Assists with case carts management.
• Ensures equipment is functioning optimally.
• Maintains departmental compliance logs.

Skills

Ability to stand for long periods

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds

Ability to work with computer programs such as Excel

Education

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Certification as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)
