Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification required (CIS/CSIS preferred); at least 2 years of sterilization experience; ability to lift; strong English and problem-solving skills.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in instrument sterilization.
• Ability to follow English instructions and perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to lift and maneuver sterile supplies as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technician on shift when needed and ensure proper handling of instruments.
• Prepare, inspect, and assemble instruments for sterilization.
• Maintain records of equipment and supplies and monitor quality control.
• Adhere to infection control standards and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with OR staff and other departments to resolve issues.
