Memorial Hermann Health System in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician responsible for sterilizing surgical instruments and supplies for the operating room and other areas of the hospital. This role may act as lead technician on a shift and requires adherence to standard precautions and infection control principles.

Education includes a high school diploma or GED, with CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification required, CIS/CSIS preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification required.
• CIS or CSIS certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in instrument sterilization.
• English language literacy and basic math skills.
• Ability to lift/move supplies with team.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work in a team.
