Job summary

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification, and two years of sterilization experience.

Qualifications

• CIS or CSIS certification preferred.
• Two years of sterilization experience required.

Responsibilities

• May function as lead technician on shift as needed.
• Prepare, sterilize, and assemble instruments and supplies.
• Maintain records and monitor quality control for sterilization.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control and facility standards.
• Communicate delays or issues in OR and other areas.
