Job summary

South Shore Health System is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing supervisor to coordinate the SPD workflow and QA activities. The role includes education and training of staff, and ensuring compliance with universal precautions in disinfection and sterilization processes.

Candidate must have 3–5 years of sterile processing experience in an acute care hospital and may require CRCST certification. The position offers a full-time day/evening rotation at SSH facilities in Weymouth, MA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years sterile processing technician experience in acute care hospital setting.
• One to two years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow of the Sterile Processing Department to ensure efficiency.
• Oversee QA documentation and equipment performance across shifts.
• Provide orientation, training and leadership to staff to support system initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and logbooks.
