Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing leader to oversee the perioperative sterile processing areas and ensure efficient reprocessing and delivery of instruments across departments.

The role requires 5 years of relevant experience with 2 years in a leadership capacity; an Associate’s degree or equivalent is required, Bachelor's preferred. Certifications are advantageous. This on-site role offers growth within a collaborative health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• 5 years of relevant experience with 2 years of leadership required.
• 7 years in Sterile Processing with leadership experience may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the sterile processing areas supporting perioperative services.
• Coordinate the reprocessing and delivery of items to other areas within the health care organization.
• Provide leadership to staff to ensure efficiency, accuracy and compliance.
