Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited sterile processing or surgical technology course required.
• 3 years work experience in a Sterile Processing department as a technician with at least one year of leadership experience required.
• 2+ years of sterile processing or related field supervisory experience preferred.
• Sterile Processing Technician certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of Sterile Processing Department staff to ensure proper departmental flow in the decontamination, preparation, sterilization and distribution of instrumentation to all departments within the hospital that utilize surgical instrumentation.
