Job summary

Atrium Health's Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Sterile Processing Services is seeking a full-time supervisor to lead SPD staff and ensure instrument readiness for the operating room.

Requires a high school diploma or GED with three years in sterile processing; an associate's degree is preferred. CSPDT certification is required, with Sterile Processing Management certification within three years of hire. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with three years' sterile processing experience.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Previous supervisory or lead technician leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads, directs, and supervises SPD employees to meet department production standards.
• Oversees inventory throughput and manages case cart systems.
• Ensures compliance with manufacturer and regulatory requirements (AAMI, AORN).
• Supports SPD Manager with policy development and staff onboarding.
• Communicates instrument needs with SPD Liaisons and OR Coordinators.
