Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, GA seeks a Sterile Processing Supervisor to lead the SPD/OR support team, ensuring timely processing of instruments and compliance with CBSPD, AAMI, and IAHCSMM standards.

You'll mentor staff, coordinate with Perioperative leaders, manage inventory, and drive continuous quality improvements while maintaining safety and regulatory standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing training, and responsiveness to surgical schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 2 years in a surgical services setting.
• CRCST and CHL or CIS/CST certifications required.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills; proficient in Excel, Access, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Sterile Processing Technicians and Supply Technicians; assign duties and monitor performance.
• Ensure instruments meet quotas; manage inventory and par levels.
• Oversee cleaning, assembling, packaging, and sterilization to CBSPD, AAMI, and IAHCSMM standards.
• Collaborate with OR leadership and Perioperative staff; communicate delays and priorities.
• Promote safety, training, and continuous quality improvement.
