Job summary

Emory Healthcare in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Coordinator to oversee daily operations between the Sterile Processing Department and the Operating Room, ensuring efficient case flow and adherence to safety standards.

You will lead instrument preparation, inventory management, and communication with surgical teams, while supporting training of new staff and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years sterile processing experience.
• Certification: CBSPD or CRCST required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations between SPD and OR to support smooth workflow.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives in line with policies and expectations.
• Maintain instrument knowledge and aseptic technique compliance.
