Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Supervisor to lead the SPD team at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Surgery Center in Winston Salem. The role requires CSPDT certification and two years in sterile processing, with on-call duties and 40 hours weekly.

The ideal candidate will oversee case carts, ensure equipment readiness, and help implement department policies while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with two years' Sterile Processing experience.
• Certification as CSPDT or other sterile processing certification required; CSPDM strongly encouraged within three years of hire.
• Ability to stand for long periods; lift up to 25 pounds; proficient with Excel and PeopleSoft.

Responsibilities

• Lead SPD employees to meet department production requirements.
• Assist Sterile Processing Supervisor with case carts management.
• Ensure equipment functions and report issues to the Sterile Processing Supervisor.
• Maintain departmental compliance logs and support policy enforcement.
