We are seeking a Central Sterile Processing Clinical Educator II to join the department to lead onboarding, training, competency assessment, and professional development initiatives for Sterile Processing personnel. Provides hands-on education and coaching, supports certification and compliance requirements, and collaborates with leadership to ensure staff achieve and maintain required competencies. This role is critical to ensuring the Sterile Processing Department maintains a skilled, competent, and compliant workforce that directly supports patient safety and clinical operations.
Monday to Friday 3:00pm to 11:30pm
Responsible for coordinating onboarding, orientation, competency validation, and professional development activities within the Sterile Processing Department. Partners with operational leaders, educators, and subject matter experts to support workforce development through classroom instruction, hands-on training, and real-time coaching in the clinical work environment. Ensures staff possess the knowledge, technical skills, and competencies necessary to perform their roles safely, effectively, and in compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements.
High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Bachelor's Degree General Studies preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes
Certified Registered Central Service Technician [CRCST] - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) required
Previous experience in designing and delivering training programs for healthcare professionals, preferably in a CPD or professional development capacity 3-5 years required
