Qualifikationen

• Five years' experience in Sterile Processing or completion of an accredited Sterile Processing certificate program with three years' experience in Sterile Processing.
• Certification as CSPDT or CRCST is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Aufgaben

• Oversees orientation and training of all new employees and continuing education for all employees.
• Provides education on regulatory standards, current clinical practice issues, and safety standards.
• Maintains and updates orientation manuals and skills checklists.
• Creates individualized training plans for new employees and conducts weekly assessments.
• Coordinates in-service schedule for new instruments and continuing education.
• Adjusts schedule to work with all employees on all shifts to meet training needs.
• Liaisons with OR Educational Resources Team and assists with OR staff education as needed.
