Zusammenfassung

University Hospitals is seeking a Sterile Processing Education Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and direct orientation, continuing education, and competency assessment for all reprocessing staff across the service territory.

You will lead training programs, ensure compliance with standards, and collaborate with CSP Education Coordinators to design system-wide education. A strong focus on quality assurance and staff development is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated knowledge of AAMI ST79 standards.
• CRCST/CSPDT/HSPA certifications required or preferred.
• Excellent communication and training delivery skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and education software.

Aufgaben

• Plan, coordinate, and direct orientation, continuing education, and competency assessment for CSP staff.
• Collaborate with CSP Education Coordinators to design in-services for system-wide distribution.
• Performs quality checks and reports outcomes to SPD leadership.
• Assess staff competency and develop training modules for process improvements.
• Ensure new and transferring employees complete orientation within 90 days.
• Coordinate continuing education for certified staff and oversee quality assurance activities.
