Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a CPD Technician at Royal Oak Hospital to support sterile processing, distribution of supplies, and instrument maintenance for surgical procedures. You will work with the perioperative team to ensure equipment is sterile, properly prepared, and available for cases in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years of sterile processing experience, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of relevant sterile processing experience required.
• Demonstrated progressive leadership required.

Responsibilities

• Process and sterilize surgical instrumentation.
• Perform diagnostic and biologic testing of central processing equipment.
• Distribute supplies to hospital departments and nursing units as needed.
• Collaborate with the perioperative team to identify process improvements and instrumentation needs.
• Serve as a resource in specialty certification disciplines and mentor peers.
