Job summary

BayCare Surgery Center is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Tech (PRN) to decontaminate, prep, package and sterilize instruments. The role includes mentoring teammates and ensuring compliance with department procedures and standards.

A high school diploma and CRCST/CBSPDT certifications are preferred, with hospital experience a plus. Location is on-site at the BayCare Surgery Center, with varying shifts.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Certifications CRCST and CBSPDT required or preferred.
• Proficiency in decontamination, preparation, packaging and sterilization per manufacturer guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for decontamination, prepping, packaging and sterilization of all instrumentation.
• Serve as preceptor and resource to department team members.
• Comply with policies, procedures and standards in sterile processing.
