Ferring Pharmaceuticals SA is seeking a Manager of Packaging in Parsippany, NJ. The role leads visual inspection, labeling, serialization, and secondary packaging for sterile products, ensuring cGMP compliance and strong team leadership.

You will coordinate staffing, materials, equipment, and shift priorities, while driving continuous improvements and cross‑functional collaboration with Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams. Strong regulatory knowledge and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in pharmaceutical packaging operations including visual inspection and labeling.
• Three or more years in people leadership or supervisory roles.
• Experience with cGMP investigations, CAPAs, change controls, audits, and controlled documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily packaging operations to meet safety, quality, service, cost, capacity, and yield objectives.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, batch records, validated processes, and cGMP requirements.
• Plan staffing, materials, equipment, and shift priorities aligned with production schedules.
• Maintain paper and electronic records with data integrity.
• Lead deviations, CAPAs, change controls, risk assessments, and effectiveness checks.
• Hire, train, coach, and manage employees; ensure qualification and succession planning.
