Job summary

Ferring is seeking a Manager, Packaging in Kentucky to lead visual inspection, labeling, serialization, and secondary packaging for sterile products. You will supervise staff, ensure cGMP compliance, manage deviations and CAPAs, and coordinate with Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to meet schedule and quality targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in regulated packaging operations, with 3+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, packaging science, life sciences, operations, or a related field.
• Five+ years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging operations including visual inspection and labeling.
• Three+ years of people-leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily packaging operations to meet safety, quality, service, cost, capacity, and yield objectives.
• Ensure visual inspection, labeling, serialization, line clearance, and reconciliation comply with procedures and cGMP.
• Plan staffing, materials, equipment, and shift priorities in line with production schedule.
• Maintain accurate paper and electronic records per data integrity requirements.
• Lead deviations, CAPAs, change controls, investigations, and effectiveness checks.
• Mentor and manage employees; enforce qualifications, performance accountability, and cross-training.
