Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Central Service Technician to help maintain standards for assembling, decontaminating, inspecting, and sterilizing surgical instruments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will perform sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies, and collaborate with Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets and equipment while maintaining a smooth workflow and delivering excellent customer service.

Competenze

• H.S. Diploma or GED Required.
• Graduate of a Central Services Processing or Surgical Tech program Required.
• In lieu of certification prior experience as a Central Service or Surgical Tech Required.

Mansioni

• Maintains standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing and sterilizing surgical instruments in an accurate and timely manner.
• Performs sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies and equipment.
• Collaborates with the Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets, and equipment in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assists in maintaining consistent and continuous work flow, providing superior customer service.
