Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Central Services Processing or Surgical Tech program required.
• In lieu of certification prior experience as a Central Service or Surgical Tech required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing and sterilizing surgical instruments.
• Performs sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies and equipment.
• Collaborates with Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets and equipment promptly and accurately.
• Supports consistent workflow and delivers superior customer service to the operating room and hospital teams.
