Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking a Central Sterile Technician to maintain standards for instrument sets, decontamination, and sterilization. The role requires collaboration with Perioperative Nursing staff to prepare sterile instrument sets, equipment and case carts in a timely manner.

Qualifikationen

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Central Sterile Tech program required.
• In lieu of CST certificate, 3 years of Central Sterile experience required.
• CCST or CST certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintains standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing and sterilizing surgical instruments in an accurate and timely manner.
• Performs sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies and equipment.
• Collaborates with Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets, equipment and case carts in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assists in maintaining consistent and continuous work flow, providing superior customer service.
