Piedmont Columbus Midtown is hiring a Central Sterile Tech I for the Evening Shift. You will maintain standards for sterilization and prepare instrument sets in collaboration with the Perioperative Nursing staff to ensure timely delivery of sterile instruments and supplies.

The role requires completion of a Central Services Processing or Surgical Tech program, a GED or HS diploma, and may accept prior Central Service or Surgical Tech experience in lieu of certification.

Qualificações

• GED or high school diploma is required.
• Graduate of a Central Services Processing or Surgical Tech program is required.
• If no certification, prior experience as a Central Service Tech or Surgical Tech is required or preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing and sterilizing instruments.
• Performs sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies and equipment.
• Collaborates with Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets and equipment promptly.
• Maintains workflow and delivers reliable customer service.
