Qualifications

• Education: GED or High School Diploma; Central Services Processing or Surgical Tech program required; or equivalent experience.
• Work Experience: Prior Central Service or Surgical Tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing and sterilizing surgical instruments.
• Performs sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies and equipment.
• Collaborates with Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets and equipment.
• Maintains continuous workflow and provides customer service.
