Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in Rahway, NJ is seeking an Associate Technician, Operations to support the FLEx-Sterile team for GMP clinical supply of sterile dosage forms.

This 1st‑shift, on‑site role involves hands‑on processing, equipment setup and cleaning, and collaboration with formulation development colleagues. Candidates must have a High School Diploma/GED, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency with MS Office and SAP.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with SAP and calibration/maintenance databases.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, operates, and cleans equipment and facilities used in clinical development and manufacturing processes.
• Maintains inventories and transports required processing equipment, materials, supplies, and products.
• Executes all GMP documentation using paper-based and electronic systems.
• Maintains knowledge of process equipment; troubleshoots issues to aid development and provide feedback.
• Attends safety, quality, and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Supports investigations and CAPA implementations.
