Job summary

Merck in Rahway, NJ is seeking hands-on technicians for the FLEx-Sterile team to support sterile filling, lyophilization and capping in GMP clinical supply for sterile dosage forms. You will work with formulation, engineering and quality groups to ensure compliant manufacturing and timely supply.

The role requires adapting to high-speed automated systems, maintaining PAS-X documentation, aseptic tasks in Grade A/C environments, and overtime as needed with 100% on-site work in Rahway.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a technician in manufacturing or similar settings.
• Ability to read and follow GMP documentation and SOPs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and equipment HMIs.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on sterile filling, lyophilization, and capping in GMP environments.
• Set-up, changeover, and test runs for different container sizes and caps.
• Collaborate with formulators, engineers, QA, and facilities to improve processes.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and participate in audits.
