Job summary

Merck in Rahway, NJ is seeking an Associate Technician, Operations to support drug product development and GMP clinical supply of sterile dosage forms in the FLEx Center. You will perform hands-on processing, equipment setup, material preparation, cleaning, and documentation while collaborating with formulators, engineers, quality, and facilities teams.

Qualified candidates will have strong communication skills, ability to work on-site on 1st shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and proficiency with SAP,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems including MS Office, SAP, Calibration/Maintenance Database Systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, operates, and cleans equipment and facilities used in clinical development and manufacturing processes.
• Maintains, inventories, and transports required processing equipment, materials, supplies, and products.
• Executes all documentation and clerical functions necessary to maintain GMP operations, using paper-based and electronic systems.
• Maintains knowledge of process equipment and operations; troubleshoots to resolve issues and aid development.
• Participates in safety, quality, and process improvement initiatives.
• Supports investigations and CAPA implementation.
