Job summary

Hephaestus Compounding Pharmacy in Doral, FL, is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support our sterile compounding operations. You will work on-site under the supervision of a pharmacist, handling compounding tasks, labeling, and inventory management in a regulated healthcare setting.

Requirements include an active Pharmacy Technician license, at least three years in a pharmacy tech role, and experience with pharmacy management systems.

Qualifications

• Current Pharmacy Technician license or certification in good standing.
• Three years experience working as a pharmacy technician.
• Experience with Pharmacy Management Systems (Pharmetika a plus).
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Fill, pack, and ship prescription orders per SOPs.
• Label, package, and store compounded medications with accurate documentation.
• Maintain inventory, rotate stock, and monitor expiration dates.
• Promote safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform other tasks as needed.
