Job summary

Hephaestus Pharmacy in Florida seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support the launch and growth of a sterile compounding operation. This on-site role reports to the Pharmacist in Charge and emphasizes regulatory compliance, accurate handling of medications, and rigorous documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a Florida tech license, 3 years' experience, and familiarity with pharmacy management systems like Pharmetika.

Qualifications

• Current Pharmacy Technician license or certification in good standing.
• Experience with Pharmacy Management Systems (Pharmetika a plus).
• Three years experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist build-out and scale of the pharmacy from ground zero.
• Establish and test best practices for pharmacy workstreams.
• Prepare compounded medications under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Fill, pack, and ship prescription orders per SOPs.
