Job summary

Southend Pharmacy in Texas is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to ensure safe, accurate compounding and distribution of sterile medications. You’ll work with pharmacy technicians and uphold USP standards to protect patient well‑being across diverse demographics.

Requirements include Pharm.D., an active Texas Pharmacist License, Sterile Compounding Certification, at least one year in sterile practice, and strong attention to detail with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. degree is required.
• Active, unrestricted Pharm.D. license in Texas (TSBP).
• Current Sterile Compounding Certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in sterile pharmacy practice.
• Expert knowledge of USP <797> sterile compounding standards and related cGMPs.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong communication for team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Compound prescriptions with precision following USP <797> and regulatory standards.
• Verify prescription accuracy and ensure timely distribution.
• Collaborate with technicians to manage sterile compounding workflow and records.
• Oversee and replenish sterile product inventories and supplies.
• Engage in research to improve compounding techniques and formulations.
