Job summary

Empower Pharmacy in Houston is seeking a Pharmacy Technician, Sterile Compounding to support aseptic preparation in our 503A/503B environment. You will perform sterile compounding, maintain batch records, and ensure cGMP and USP 797/800 compliance to support safe, scalable medication production.

The role requires at least 2+ years in cGMP or LEAN manufacturing, a Texas-registered Pharmacy Technician license, and ACPE sterile/IV accreditation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cGMP or LEAN manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Sterile/IV compounding accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in cleanrooms with hazardous substances.

Responsibilities

• Aseptic execution in ISO-classified cleanrooms.
• Process compliance with batch records, SOPs, USP 797/800, cGMP.
• Operate sterile compounding and sterilization equipment.
• Documentation accuracy and batch records.
• Identify, elevate, and support deviation investigations.
• Maintain cleanroom integrity and LEAN driven workflow improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and train new technicians.
