Southend Pharmacy is hiring a Clinical Pharmacist – Non-Sterile Compounding in Houston to provide clinical oversight, verify prescriptions, and support non-sterile compounding operations. Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Experience with non-sterile compounding strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of USP <795> standards and pharmacy compounding regulations.
Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and interpret prescriptions for compounded non-sterile medications to ensure safety and accuracy.
- Provide clinical consultation on formulation selection, dosage forms, and ingredient compatibility.
- Oversee non-sterile compounding operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and providers to support customized therapies and patient care.
- Support QA activities, documentation, and process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
