Qualifications

• Pharm.D. degree required.
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist License (Texas TSBP).
• Current Sterile Compounding Certification.
• Minimum one year of professional experience in sterile pharmacy.
• Expert proficiency in USP <797> and cGMP standards.
• IV Certification preferred.
• Experience in 503A or 503B environments.

Responsibilities

• Compound sterile prescriptions with precision adhering to USP <797> and cGMP.
• Verify prescription accuracy and ensure timely medication verification and distribution.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to manage orders, records, and sterile workflow.
• Oversee and replenish sterile medication inventory.
• Engage in research to improve compounding techniques or develop new formulations.
