Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Arizona pharmacist license (R.Ph. or PharmD) required.
• Experience with sterile compounding essential.
• Ability to work in a closed-door pharmacy and communicate by phone.

Responsibilities

• Verify and safely dispense sterile and non-sterile compounded medications as prescribed.
• Oversee sterile compounding operations per USP guidelines and standards.
• Maintain compliant records and procedures for sterile activities.
• Champion safety and risk management to protect patients and staff.
• Ensure equipment maintenance, calibration, and proper storage/disposal of hazardous materials.
• Communicate with patients and providers by phone regarding prescriptions.
• Support pharmacy audits and inspections.
