The University of Kentucky is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support the Supply Center operations in our Lexington campus. This role ensures efficient trucking, warehouse organization, and safe, clean, and orderly facilities while delivering dependable service to campus departments.

Responsibilities include pulling and packing orders, receiving items, verifying counts, stocking shelves, loading/unloading, and assisting with deliveries as needed.

Physical Requirements

Lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds, standing, and walking.

Shift

Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. with occasional evenings and weekends. Possibly designated a plan B employee during severe weather.

Job Summary

This position is in a warehouse environment and helps to ensure that the Supply Center functions, trucking efforts, and the warehouse organization operate at maximum efficiency. You will provide essential service and support to the Supply Center while maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and orderly condition of the warehouse.

Interaction with internal and external customers takes place daily, so good customer service skills and attention to detail are key to this position.
