Job summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking a STEPS Warehouse Worker for the Supply Center in Lexington, KY. You will pull and prepare orders, receive items, stock shelves, and assist with deliveries to keep the campus warehouse safe, organized, and efficient.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends. A valid driver’s license is preferred. This temporary role provides hands-on warehouse experience in a busy university setting.

Qualifications

• Customer service and attention to detail in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with basic warehouse tasks and physical requirements.
• Ability to perform lifting up to 50 pounds and operate basic warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare orders for delivery to campus departments.
• Receive items into the warehouse and confirm correct items and counts.
• Stock shelves and load/unload vehicles.
• Assist with deliveries to departments as needed.
• May perform minor computer entry tasks.
