Job summary

A local educational agency is seeking individuals for the Stepping Stones after school program in California. Salary: Base ROP plus certifications and longevity.

HOURS: 2:50 PM TO 3:50 PM (1 hour per day) up to 5 hours per week.

Duties & Responsibilities: (Essential Functions of Position, Major Responsibilities, Summary of Key Duties, Special Assignments, Relationships)

Provide student supervision in the Stepping Stones program afterschool under the supervision of the On Site Supervisor

Supervise students in a whole group or in a group of 15 for the duration of shift

Willing to work at a variety of school buildings and classrooms with sometimes limited notice as to assignment. Hours of work will vary between the buildings.

Work with a variety of students with diverse backgrounds

Assist with activities and routines

Model flexibility in duties as needed

Willingness to use positive reinforcement techniques when working with students
