Job summary

Jobot is seeking an inpatient RN to care for acutely ill surgical and trauma patients at our Raleigh-Durham area hospital. The role focuses on stepdown-level assessment, monitoring and post-operative care with emphasis on complex postoperative needs.

Requirements include an active North Carolina or Compact RN license and inpatient RN experience. Salary ranges from $91,245 to $128,413 per year, with a $15,000 hire bonus and potential relocation or student loan assistance.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or Compact RN license.
• Inpatient hospital RN experience required.
• Med-Surg, surgical, telemetry, trauma or stepdown experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients following major abdominal surgeries
• Manage patients after vascular surgery
• Care for abdominal oncology surgical patients
• Provide nursing care for a variety of trauma patients
• Monitor complex post-operative patients for changes in condition and complications
• Coordinate care with surgeons, physicians and the interdisciplinary team throughout recovery
