Job summary

LeoForce is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse for a Medical Stepdown role in Raleigh, NC. This position focuses on medically complex patients needing both acute and stepdown-level monitoring and interventions.

The RN will manage care for patients with sepsis, pneumonia, diabetes, and cardiac-related conditions, while collaborating with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or Compact license.
• Inpatient hospital RN experience required.
• Med-Surg, Telemetry, Progressive Care or Stepdown experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with sepsis, pneumonia, diabetes, sickle cell disease and complex GI conditions.
• Manage patients requiring stepdown-level monitoring and higher-acuity nursing care.
• Care for patients receiving cardiac drips.
• Manage patients recovering after cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Care for patients requiring peritoneal dialysis.
• Assess changes in condition and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

Job Details

We are seeking an inpatient RN interested in caring for medically complex patients requiring both traditional acute-care nursing and stepdown-level monitoring and interventions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Care for patients with sepsis, pneumonia, diabetes, sickle cell disease and complex GI conditions
• Manage patients requiring stepdown-level monitoring and higher-acuity nursing care
• Care for patients receiving cardiac drips
• Manage patients recovering after cardiac catheterization procedures
• Care for patients requiring peritoneal dialysis
• Assess changes in condition and collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team

Skills You Need
