Job summary

Atlas MedStaff is seeking a Step Down Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role focuses on patients transitioning from ICU to step-down settings, with a 12-hour night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and a 36-hour workweek.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of telemetry experience and hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, along with EPIC charting proficiency and a North Carolina or Compact license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Step Down/Telemetry nursing experience.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and patient transitions from ICU.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• NC license or Compact license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care in a step-down unit.
• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Rotate weekends off every other weekend.
• Support patient recovery and care coordination.
