Qualifications

• One year of Stepdown RN experience or more.
• Current RN license in good standing with state boards.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) up to date.
• ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) up to date.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists with cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient comfort, safety, and telemetry monitoring.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
