Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated RN to join the Cardiac Telemetry Stepdown Unit 5-2. The unit cares for intermediate and stepdown patients with acute cardiac events requiring telemetry monitoring.

Three 12-hour day shifts (36 hours weekly) with a supportive team culture, commitment to nursing excellence, and opportunities for residency and professional growth. Must hold NC RN licensure and BLS.

Qualifications

• Registration as an RN in NC (or NC compact licence).
• BLS certification required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, and document professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Support patient care delivery and maintain environment of care, including equipment and materials.
• Prioritize tasks and coordinate with the care team to meet patient needs.
• Engage in professional development and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
