Job summary

AmeriCorps & Senior Corps’ 4-H STEM AmeriCorps Program provides direct service to youth by delivering high-quality STEAM education and youth development throughout the service year in Boise and surrounding communities. Members facilitate hands-on learning, mentor youth, and model integrity, teamwork, and perseverance in non-formal settings.

• Coordinate and evaluate youth programming in STEAM and healthy living.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and schools.
• Support volunteer recruitment, training, and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate youth programming in STEAM.
• Deliver engaging educational programs in afterschool, community events, workshops, camps, clubs, and partnerships.
• Mentor youth and supervise teen volunteers during activities and events.
• Complete accurate data collection and reporting; support volunteer recruitment and training.
