AmeriCorps & Senior Corps seeks individuals to lead STEM lessons, maintain lesson plan records, and track youth engagement data in Utah. You will complete timesheets and monthly reports while evaluating progress through surveys and rubrics.
The role emphasizes youth development outcomes, safety, and active participation across program activities. Applicants will guide and model positive behavior, oversee program quality, and ensure a productive environment by participating in weekly staff
Provide STEM education: Lead STEM lessons during the time allocated each week Maintain records of lesson plans and track data for the number of students served Complete weekly timesheets and a monthly report Evaluate progress of youth served using surveys & rubrics Create an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes: Promote and stimulate program participation; Provide guidance and role modeling to members; Ensure members are encouraged to participate in a variety of program areas/activities and receive instruction and constructive feedback to develop skills in program area(s). Demonstrate leadership to assure conduct, safety, and development of members. Program Development and Implementation Effectively implement and administer programs, services, and activities for all members and visitors. Monitor and evaluate program services and activities. Oversee member safety, program quality, and appearance of the organization at all times. Supervision Ensure a productive work environment by participating in weekly organization staff meetings.
